NEIL BEARDEN

I did a PhD in psychology at UNC-Chapel Hill, a postdoc in neuroscience at Duke, and was as a tenured professor at a top business school (INSEAD) for 15 years.

I began my academic career teaching Statistics. In the middle, I taught Behavioral Decision Making. By the end, I’d created the Storytelling course at INSEAD, and set a record for the greatest number of MBA students enrolled in a course taught by a single professor.

Along the way, I accumulated a stack of best teacher awards taller than a cat.

I have published a bunch of esoteric academic articles, some stories in Harvard Business Review, and written for the Financial Times.

I taught a sold-out Business Storytelling class for The Guardian newspaper.

I’ve advised people from more companies than I can count.

And I exited academia in 2021 to start this company – to help you tell stories that drive decisions.

I am profoundly averse to bullshit, foggy thinking, and unwarranted truth claims.
